Studio Dorien Franken designs the final Anybody

DPG Media asked Studio Dorien Franken to design a tribute to Anybody.

DPG Media asked me to create a special for Anybody, the iconic column that ran for 30+ years and was part of Viva's weekly magazine. The tribute will be published on July 21st, 2021, and attached to all the DPG Media women's titles Libelle, Margriet, Flair, and Viva.

The briefing was to create a concept from start to finish within a short period, and I was given complete freedom. The tribute (16 pages) includes the iconic black-and-white images of photographer Elisabeth van Dorp, showing naked bodies in all shapes and sizes. In addition, all editors-in-chief of the DPG Media Women's titles, including Debby Gerritsen of Viva and Hilmar Mulder of Libelle, reflect on their memory of the column.

"In a time where people prefer to 'filter' their reality on Social Media, Anybody shows that the body is beautiful, just as is. It creates awareness and hopefully changes our perception of how we look at ourselves which I totally support. It's an honor to contribute."
