Seven years after its launch, &C Media, the platform founded by TV personality Chantal Janzen, asked me to redesign its visual identity. The project spanned the full brand spectrum: from strategy and positioning to magazine design, social strategy, image policy, product design and more.

I challenged the team to reconsider the future relevance of &C, what unique position the brand could claim and how that should be expressed visually and conceptually. A process that strengthened the brand from the inside out.

Instantly recognizable signature

The new visual identity is defined by clarity, simplicity, and character. By reducing the visual language to a set of strong, recognizable elements, the result is a design system that is both bold and scalable. The rebrand focuses on a flexible yet distinctive design system, balancing consistency with creative freedom across all channels.

An analogue starting point

The starting point was redefining &C Media’s brand values. Before entering the concept phase, I led a brainstorm session using three A0 mood boards made from curated magazine clippings. By analyzing color, typography, photography, layout, and tone, the team aligned on “Bold Statement” as the starting point for the rebrand.

A mobile and social-first strategy

 The new content strategy feels like a contemporary magazine, layered, expressive, and in motion. Through rhythm, contrast, and color, it creates space for both content and expression, exactly what a modern media brand needs to stay relevant.
